Thanks to our long and extensive experience in various structural areas, we can consider the structure as a whole and not just as an individual element.
For example, in detailed calculations one has to deal with the steel-concrete connection. Without knowledge of the two worlds (steel and concrete), it is difficult to design an economically balanced node. This is what we can do to optimize the overall cost of the connection.
In the case of concrete, in addition to the interfaces with the steel, you also have to deal with the foundation. Based on our knowledge, we therefore consider concrete not only as a separate element, but as an integral structure connected to the ground. Considering concrete structures and foundations separately often leads to conservative assumptions and thus higher costs.
Our extensive knowledge also makes us a suitable discussion partner for those involved in other parts of the considered structure. If we work out steel for you, we are happy to consult with the concrete structural engineer. If we are a concrete structural engineer, we can consult with the geotechnical consultant.
